my Story

My name is Katlyn but some people call me Kat. I am married to the most amazing and patient man. We have a beautiful son who has quickly become my most frequent model! Both of them push me everyday to be the best wife, mother, and all around woman! I have a love for indoor plants that may or may not be taking over my house. Jesus is at the center of my family and is a huge reason I started my photography! I wanted to capture all of the beauty in people and show them how loved they are!

Photography has always been a passion of mine. I remember the first camera I had, to be honest I don't think it actually took pictures. I was fascinated at seeing the world through a lens. Even the most vacant place could be captured as paradise in a photo. That passion lead me to start my own photography business when I was about 18. I dabbled in every avenue of photography but fell in love with the candid photos of people. Capturing the love in each moment, even the ones that you don't expect to catch.
